Some pretty fall colors! I think this palette page from my sketchbook was used in a drawing of a squirrel.

An l'il owl drawing that I thought I lost...

Churches have a lot of meanings to me, and they come in so many forms.  I've yet to color these small drawings, but I think that they might lead to something...

here's the original drawing for my tattoo...I think it's a neat thing to have around.

New stuff

The month of June turned out to be a busy one, so I haven't posted in a while.  Check out three fabulous new links under "fun stuff"and buy yourself a crazy stuffed hedgehog and get ready for July!

recommended July  bar: "jackie's 5th amendment" in Park Slope: fun of ALL ages!
recommended reading for July: " Sick" by Johnathan Cohn
recommended cookie for July: Lemon Anise refrigerator cookies (shh, dough snuck from the fridge at midnight tastes better than the baked cookies!)
recommended artist for July: Calif Brown: summery, whimsical illustrations that'll get you in the July mood!

May Flowers and Friends

Clyde the spring cat has a snazzy bow tie that gives him a distinguished air.  He enjoys watching his pinwheel zip around in the spring breeze!

May Flowers: I think these would make nice brooches or appliques to pillows or bags.

May Flowers Moleskin cover: My planner was looking a little funky, so I made this nifty cover for it!  I modified checkbook cover directions from a sewing book, and using felt eliminated the need for fancy techniques.

Poppyseed bread: Came out alright, the whole loaf looks more like a poppyseed burrito than anything else, but it tastes good, and that's all that matters!
