Check out this illustration I did for a blog poem

IF:Time

This week's subject was time. I decided to go back in time and find an illustration from the past that I felt strongly about. This one was for a class at Pratt, back in 2005! It's based on one ff my favorite books, "the Red Pony. I was experimenting a lot with collage and paint, but I ended up going back to my linework, which I think is stronger. Now if i do a collage it's completely separated from drawing. I 'd like to find a way to merge the two, but I haven't worked it out yet. Looking at past work is always exciting because it makes me wonder what my work will be like in another 4 years!

Weekend doodles

I was flipping through an interior decorating magazine, and I came across a room with three old puppets hanging on the wall. they were really creepy, so i I did my spin on them. I think they look like they're heading towards a secret puppet séance.


Doddlin'...I usually don't do the abstract thing, but it's a nice way to zone out.
